We've had so much fun the past few days. Helena has been picking up so much stuff! She's pointing, shaking her head, and we both swear she says "hi dada" when Anthony says "hi Lainey." But hey, we could be imagining it.
We took my brother to the zoo on saturday as our birthday present to him. He's 11! It's crazy how fast my brothers are growing up. We had a really good time. We even got to pet stingrays! Which, by the way, are super sweet. At least these ones were. If they saw your hand in the water, they'd swim over and cozy up to it. <3 Jordan would dip his hand in the water, but if one came near, he'd pull it out. My little fraidy-cat!
We bought bikes yesterday! We were holding off because Anthony wanted a motorcycle, so he was saving for the down payment. He decided to wait a year until he's settled in to his new job, so we blew the money on bikes and seats for the kids. Totally worth it. We went out riding today and the kids loved it. Anthony and Jordan are currently out on their second bike ride while Helena is sleeping and I'm doing...well...this. They've been gone about 45 minutes now, so I'm guessing they're enjoying themselves.
